I’m still at work on the Double Wedding Ring quilt. As I suspected the last row is going to be a bear. I left it for tomorrow. I shall then say a prayer and “quilt it out.”
Is there a prayer or a Patron Saint out there for Longarm Quilters? There should be. Maybe I should email the Pope….
Here is a picture of the CAD screen. The red is what has been quilted, so far.
Weekly Challenge #27: "Duo-tangle"
I decided to join in on a challenge that goes on at the blog “I Am The Diva-CZT.” This week's challenge is to do a tile or Zentangle inspired piece that uses only these two tangles; Dex and Verdigogh.
Since I’m new to Zentangle, I’ve not done either Dex or Verdigogh, let alone a “piece.” I’m giving it a try though.
This is my first try.
This is my second piece. Something about it is not quite right. I’m going to work on it a bit more in the future, but for now I’m moving on.
I’m satisfied with my Dex, but Verdigogh…..ugh!
I love your first one. It's one of my favorites that I've seen.
ReplyDeleteI like. simple but effective
ReplyDeleteLovely tangles!
ReplyDeleteI wasn't satisfied with my Verdigogh eiter :(
Hi Nicky,
ReplyDeleteZentangles new to me too and this week the challenge was really difficult but I think you've got it down! Love your quilts too, so much work, and such lovely designs and colour. - And as a great grandma I have to say your granddaughter is a little gem. - Enjoy!
You've done a great job! I like them all. My verdigogh is a work in progress. I think yours is very nice.
ReplyDeleteKeep up the good work on the tangles - you'll find many long arm quilters are using the tangle patterns as quilting guides! *G*
ReplyDeleteWonderful!
