Lauren's Rite of Acceptance

Today at Church, Lauren (15) participated in the Rite of Acceptance. It marks the beginning of her journey towards receiving the Sacrament of Confirmation.
Lauren is the one standing second from the left. Not a great picture, but I was sitting all the way in the back corner. Monsignor King asked that the kids who are working toward Confirmation this year stand as he called their name.
This is when they were all brought to the front and the Rite of Acceptance was performed.
